The Skriker

In this horror story about modernity, postpartum depression and moral decay, two young mothers Josie (Maya Jones) and Lily (Erin Lockett) are stalked through England by the Skriker (Barbara Geary), a shapeshifting faerie who seeks to bring them to the Underworld, a hellscape populated by withering creatures from traditional British folklore.

HOI Artistic Director AJ Sage makes his directorial debut for the company, leading a cast of 20 that also includes audience favorites Daniel Kiely, Marlo Del Toro and R.J. Lavine Stage management by Maggie Lapinski, choreography by Amanda Moretti, Lighting design by Lea Davis and costumes by Elizabeth Kitney.

‘The Skriker” features all new and evocative music composed by Zaccharie Charvolin specifically for the show. It also features a hauntingly unique 3D sound design from Norm Scott. We are immensely proud to work with them as a part of the show and for you all in the community to witness it firsthand. It is a big part of what makes “The Skriker” such a singular experience.

Audiences should be warned that "The Skriker" includes adult language and disturbing imagery throughout, in addition to themes of depression.
