The House of Ithaqua’s production of “The Skriker” is listed as no. 2 on the Ithaca top 10 list!
House of Ithaqua will stage Caryl Churchill's 1994 play ‘The Skriker” at The Cherry ArtSpace on Friday through Sunday, Nov. 15-17 and Nov. 21-23. Inspired by British folklore and focused on disasters on both the macro and micro levels, the play follows a shape-shifting faerie (Barbara Geary) who stalks two young mothers, Josie (Maya Jones) and Lily (Erin Lockett), adopting various personas as she attempts to coax them back to her home in the Underworld. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 to $25.
