In light of current events, we have decided to hit the pause button this summer and focus our energy on pre-production for the exciting season we have planned starting this Autumn at the Cherry Artspace. These productions include:
November 2020 - To be determined
January 2021 - Baba Yaga by Christopher Buehlman (co-produced by Barbara Geary)
In this one woman show directed by Norm Johnson, Barbara Geary of The Skriker fame will take on various roles in a darkly delightful re-imagining of Russian folklore.
March/April 2021 - Sophia by AJ Sage
Based on The Bacchae by Euripides, HOI Artistic Director AJ Sage takes aim at academia and the patriarchy in a blistering seriocomic take on the classic tragedy.
The Spring 2021 show will also bring us back to our tradition of open casting calls, and there will be plenty more in 2021 to look forward to as well.
One more exciting thing - House of Ithaqua was originally imagined as a multimedia production house, so we are happy to report that you should be looking out for casting information on a film project in late Summer or early Autumn this year.
